I occasionally make sound recordings (music, interviews, field) as well as art.
Sometimes I am invited on other people’s podcasts. Here’s a few of them:
I was also quoted in The Guardian about the resurgence of board games.
Tabletop Gaming Magazine Podcast
We’ve recently been doing a podcast at the magazine. It’s mainly me chatting to designers, writers and creatives in board games, rpgs, card games and miniatures games. You can listen to them here.
Oxford Print Fair Interviews
In September 2017, as part of Mogul, I helped put on the first Oxford Print Fair. As part of this I conducted interviews with all but the shyest of print makers. You can hear all of these recordings on the Oxford Print Fair Soundcloud page, or in this Soundcloud playlist. I am sorry you have to listen to my voice, but someone had to ask the questions.
I occasionally likes to make field recordings, particularly of the lake as part of a memory project. I realised very quickly that sound is one of the most transporting methods for triggering memory, if I ever need to go back once it’s all slumped away these recordings will be one of the ways I will do it.
Hear these on Mixcloud here:
I sometimes make odd, process based art. You can read a write up of the process used to generate it here and see some of the art in question. If you like it enough to commission something from me, please do get in touch.
Hilariously, I put some of these odd and ugly designs on clothing, which you can find here.
